• Academic information obtained from Canvas (courses, subjects, assignments, and due dates) strictly to perform the requested sync.
• Minimal technical logs (error logs and usage metrics) to ensure service stability and security.

3. Purpose of processing

We use personal data exclusively to provide synchronization between Canvas and the integrations you have enabled, optimize the user experience, and ensure proper service delivery.

The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent when connecting integrations, as well as performance of the service contract upon accepting CanvasSync’s Terms of Service.

We retain data while your account remains active. If you disconnect an integration or delete your account, we will delete associated tokens and stored data that are no longer necessary.

We only share strictly necessary data with service providers that help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting or databases). We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
